CURATOR'S NOTE:
RED PESTO? Tomato, or red pesto offers a different complexity and greater oomph versus its traditional green counterpart. Most green pestos taste very earth and herbaceous with garlicky undertones.
Conversely, red pesto is incredibly bright with rich notes of umami. It’s delicious on its own, or paired with just about any protein: grilled chicken, shrimp, steak, or meatballs.
